Extension to COVID-19 fee relief
Selected environmental health and community venue hire fees were subject to discounts or waivers during the period 1 July 2020 to 30 September 2020. Businesses, community organisations and individuals eligible for these additional discounts were contacted by Council about their reduced or waived fees – there was no need to apply.
Council has now approved an extension to relief for selected fees for the period 1 October 2020 to 30 June 2021. Please refer to the document below for the approved listing:
Council has subsequently granted a full waiver for footpath dining license fees for the 2020-2021 financial year.
A temporary fee waiver is also in place for selected development application fees (Carrying out Building Work not associated with a Material Change of Use). Refunds or waivers will be provided for applications within the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Refer to the document below.
